Every time I type the year, I cringe a little.  I still have my Y2K sweatshirts hanging in my closet.  They still look like new.  I'm ashamed to wear them out in public.  There are adults running around who are younger than these shirts.  How can that be possible?

I have a daughter who is more than 1/2 a century old.  She looks middle aged.  Does this mean I really don't look as young as I feel?  Well, inside; not outside.  I creak.  And have to unfold before I can stand up straight.

And, what's with time?  It really does spin as fast as the end of the toilet paper roll.  Why?  No matter how hard I try to live in the present, it still zooms past.
